Move your way at your pace. Race pace, pilgrim pace, party pace it’s all welcome.

We will traverse well-maintained farm tracks with a few honest climbs and wide-open views.

You earn the finish.
And the finish is the feast.

Welcome to a very special MUSTER event at the stunning Mangarara Eco Lodge; where you will adventure into flavour and be spoilt with epic rural hospitality.

From the moment you arrive, Mangarara is an experience in itself. Expansive lake views, peaceful surroundings, and relaxed charm set the tone for an event that’s about so much more than distance.

This is not a race: it’s an experience.

All paces are welcome.

Choose your adventure:

• 13km – For those wanting a challenge, this route includes some elevation (300m), you are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views.

• 9km – A lush, flowing route through park-like farmland, winding trails, and a hidden bush hut.

• 6km – A mostly flat, scenic recovery option; perfect if you’re easing into it or coming off the Hawke’s Bay Marathon the day before.

Whether you're here to push yourself or simply soak it all in, there’s something for everyone.

After your run or walk, settle in and stay awhile:
Unwind with a delicious chef-curated two-course feast, connect with others, and enjoy everything this incredible location has to offer.
